After delivering a hit with his last release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, filmmaker Karan Johar has now hinted at his next project, which will feature a superstar from the South, along with a debutant starkid. Taking to his social media handle, Karan Johar while sharing a long note made a cryptic film announcement. Inviting fans to guess the leading actors and the film’s title, the filmmaker mentioned that it features a South superstar, a massively loved actress, and a debutant actor who is “combating the obsession with nepotism.” Further noting that the film is ready for release, Karan asked fans to guess the same based on the given hints. He also offered an opportunity to give a glimpse of the film. “This is not a film announcement! But it can be…with your help! We have been shooting this intriguing film for the past year, kept it under wraps because not revealing key aspects of the film even to the crew was a decision the debut director took. So here are the broad hints, he wrote followed by the hints about the lead actors. A) superstar from the south who has just delivered a pan-India juggernaut! B) A massively loved actress who continues to awe us with her emotional energy on celluloid C) A legacy debut actor who is working tirelessly to find his spot in the sunshine of exceptional talent & combatting the obsession with the N [nepotism] word! Many also guessed that the film’s title would be SarZameen and that director Kayoze Irani would be helming the project.
