“Arjun Kapoor would be a great host. He’s got a great personality, he’s hilarious, he has great relationships with people, he’s popular and he’s really funny, witty and on the spur witty,” said Karan Johar.
The audiences have always seen many shades of the ‘Singham Again’ actor, as a lover boy, a menacing villain and as someone who also keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats with thrilling performances. Karan Johar was on Raj Shamani’s podcast when he addressed the allegations of destroying people’s career in Bollywood. He said, “People say iska iska career destroy kiya. Maine kisi ka kuch nahi kiya. Maine bas apna kaam kiya.”
“I have worked with all kinds of actors. I can list several actors and other talents who did their first films with us - many of whom were complete outsiders,” he said, adding, “I’ve launched around 50 actors and 25 directors, many of whom come from non-film backgrounds. Yet, no one ever talks about that.”
Johar recently opened up about experiencing pain and anxiety attacks during his one-sided love phase and called it a “torture” and “the worst feeling in the world.”
