Karan Johar, absent from Anant-Radhika's pre-wedding bash, shares special video from Hastakshar ceremony; WATCH

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations concluded on Sunday, 3 March with the ‘Hastakshar’ ceremony. Several special moments from Day 3 of the festivities have surfaced on the internet, showing immense love and bonding between the soon-to-be-married couple.

Both the family members of Anant and Radhika were seen in attendance, witnessing the couple taking a step forward ahead of their new life. Besides the Ambanis and the Merchants, several high-profile guests from across the globe also arrive to take part in the pre-wedding extravaganza.

The star-studded guest list included Bollywood A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt among many others. However, it was the absence of popular Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar that caught fans’ attention.

Known for his strong bond with Bollywood stars and with the Ambani family, Karan Johar went missing at the pre-wedding functions in Gujarat. While the reason behind Karan missing the events is best known to him, the ace filmmaker did make sure to extend his best wishes to the couple.

On Wednesday, 6 March, Karan Johar shared a heartwarming video from the Hastakshar ceremony on Instagram. From Radhika’s romantic walk on the aisle to family members cheering loudly, the clip looks completely magical.

As the video plays, Radhika can be seen making a dreamy entry while the guests continue to cheer for the couple. As she walked toward the stage, Anant extended his hand to welcome her, before giving a warm hug. However, what caught everyone’s attention was Anant’s father, Mukesh Ambani getting overwhelmed with emotions and crying tears of joy.

Along with the video, Karan Johar penned a sweet note for the couple and wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to Anant and Radhika Merchant!
