The announcement might come as a surprise as it was Sony TV itself which had announced a break for The Kapil Sharma Show citing the comedian's precarious health condition last year in August. However, Sharma's new show with Sony speaks a lot about his connections with the channel.

Sharma is spotted in the teaser asking an auto to drop him till Sony TV's studio and on getting rejected he mentions his comeback on Sony itself. The teaser looks promising and hints at a show which could have a lot to offer to his fans.

A source had revealed to Indian Express, “Sony TV and Kapil recently had a meeting and discussed on the comeback of the show. The show is expected to launch by end of March.”

It was also confirmed by a few reports that Sunil Grover won't be seen with Kapil. "No, Sunil is not coming back. The remaining cast of The Kapil Sharma Show will be part of the series while there can be some new addition also,” said the source.

After a having a highly publicised fallout with Sunil Grover and his fellow comedians, The Firangi actor seems to be more focused on his work.
