Rishab Shetty starrer Kantara: Chapter 1 has turned out to be a global phenomenon ever since its release. The epic mythology drama continues to achieve new milestones every passing day at the box office.
The movie, which currently stands at the total of Rs 315 crore (all versions), is set to beat Rajinikanth starrer Coolie (Rs 330.6) and Saiyaara (Rs 337.38 crore) to become the 2nd highest Indian grosser at the domestic box office after Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Chhaava, which earned Rs 600.10 crore during its theatrical run.
While Kantara: Chapter 1 will definitely cross the Rs 400 crore mark at the domestic market, it would be interesting to see if it gives a tough time to Chhaava ’s collection, which will be a daunting task for the Rishab Shetty starrer.
Apart from fans, the movie has garnered praise from celebrities like Jr. NTR, Prabhas, Ram Gopal Varma, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Nivin Pauly, Mammootty, Yash, Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar, and cricketers like Varun Chakravarty and KL Rahul, among others.
