Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth starrer Kantara: Chapter 1 continues to shatter the box office records across the country and globe. While the Hindi version is set to enter the Rs 150 crore club today, the epic-mythology action drama has already crossed the Rs 400 crore mark (across all languages) at the domestic box office.

Talking about its 2nd Saturday business, Kantara: Chapter 1 has beaten biggies like Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, Jawan, Saiyaara, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.

The film is expected to witness an upward trend today and cross the benchmark of Rs 450 crore at the Indian box office.
