Rishab Shetty & Rukmini Vasanth starrer Kantara: Chapter 1, which serves prequel to Kantara, remained super strong on its 2nd day at the box office after enjoying a huge opening day. The mythological epic drama earned around Rs 45.50 crore (across all languages) yesterday and currently stands with a grand total of around Rs 107.50 crore.
It has entered the Rs 100 crore club (across all languages) in just two days in India and joined the ranks of films like Jawan, Pathaan, Stree 2, Animal, Coolie, Devara & War 2. Films like Pushpa 2, RRR, Baahubali 2 & KGF 2 had crossed the Rs 100 crore mark (across all languages) on their first day at the domestic box office.
Kantara: Chapter 1 is expected to witness an upward trend today and tomorrow at the box office and should cross the Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic market.
