Queen won the Best Hindi Film Award at the 62 National Film Awards today. The lead actress of the film, Kangana Ranaut was named best actress at the award ceremony. Apart from that, Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom was named the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment_._ Shahid Kapoor starrer Haider too got several awards including best playback singer award bagged by Sukhwinder Singh for the song Bismil. The film also won awards for Best Choreography, Music Direction as well as Costume Design. Court won the Best multi-lingual Feature Film at the 62nd National Film Awards while Killa was named the Best Marathi Film. Nirbashito won the Best Bengali Film while filmmaker Srijit Mukherji won Best Director Award for his film Chotushkone.
