Kamal Haasan, whose
political plans
have been under scrutiny ever since he hinted at them, has said that he will fulfill all his film and television commitments before diving into politics. Haasan, who is currently seen as the host on
Bigg Boss Tamil
, wants to “keep 2019 free for public causes,” as per a

Vishwaroopam
is in the post production phase and shall be hitting the theaters shortly. Apart from the crime thriller, the shooting for his forthcoming trilingual
Shabash Kundu
shall also resume. The makers had to stall the film for a period of approximately six months after Haasan fractured his leg in an accident. However, after having fully recovered from his injuries, he is ready to take on the film again. A long schedule will be required to complete the film. Sounding confident about his imminent entry into politics, he says he needs to free himself of all his cinematic responsibilities because “there is no question of a holiday or postponement once you declare you are in politics.”
