Kalki Koechlin in all new avatar; actress to feature on travel show along with father

We have all seen Kalki Koechlin portraying different roles in her films, but soon we will see her biking across the difficult terrain of the north eastern regions of India. Accompanying her on this ride will be her father Joel Koechlin. The duo will be hosting a travel show exploring the terrains of the North East. In the 4,000 kilometer motorbike adventure the 32-year-old actress and her father, who is a legendary biker and renowned photographer, will travel through the unspoiled landscapes of the region, battling adverse weather conditions and rocky terrains. The show will show the father and daughter enjoying their holiday doing simple things like singing classic 70s music, bonding with new friends or even playing football. “It feels great to work with the team at the channel again. The North-East has always intrigued me and it will be quite an experience to explore the terrain on two wheels. It was not one of the comfortable, relaxing holidays but every muscle ache was worth it- the show was a dream vacation for a thrill seeker like me,” Kalki said in a statement. The journey also aims at breaking the stereotypes associated with the celebrity travel and stresses on how vacations do not have to be spent in luxury and comfort. (With inputs from PTI)
