Justin Bieber Purpose India concert: Itinerary, tour plan, ticket availability — the complete guide
The countdown to Justin Bieber's Purpose tour has begun, and here is all you need to know, from ticket availability and set list, to the Canadian singer-songwriter's itinerary in India.
In the previous Purpose concerts, Bieber has sung the track that made him popular, 'Baby', as well as other hits like 'Where Are Ü Now', 'As Long As You Love Me', 'Love Yourself' and 'Boyfriend', so it is likely that he will play these at this concert as well.
Among the other performers at this concert are New Delhi-based DJ Sartek and 'Faded' singer Alan Walker. Sonakshi Sinha has confirmed that she will not be performing.
Bieber arrives in India three days prior to the concert and will stay here for five days. He is scheduled to travel the country, taste the food and attend parties. He will travel to the city in a private jet and be welcomed by folk dancers.
Times of India reveals that on the first day, he will eat lavish food from the cuisines of 29 Indian states, and it is being reported that the dishes will be served by royal butlers specially flown in from Rajasthan. This food will be presented in gold and silver-coated thaalis, which are engraved with the name of the singer and his entourage in Devnagari. Flautists and sarangi players will perform, creating the feel of a traditional fortress.
On the second day, Justin Bieber will take a tour of the city, and the spots he will visit include the Gateway of India, Kala Ghoda, Mani Bhavan to get a taste of India's culture. A visit to an underprivileged home is also on his itinerary, as well as a visit to an Ayurvedic spa.
Day three is when the concert will be held, followed by a yacht party and karaoke singing. On the fourth and fifth day, he will travel to New Delhi and Jaipur, as well as visit the Taj Mahal.
He will also attend a black-tie boxing night, where celebrities like Arjun Rampal, Tiger Shroff, Malaika Arora Khan and Sunny Leone will be present. Later, a grand after party has been planned, where DJ Aqueel and Mr. Right will play music.
Backstage, the singer will have a Jacuzzi, a ping-pong station and Playstation to help him relax. The management has also made it clear that no guests will be allowed to meet Bieber backstage, which means that fans will not be able to take autographs or selfies with the 23-year-old singing sensation.
27-year-old businessman Arjun Jain is the man responsible for bringing this Canadian singer to India. In the past, his company White Fox has also brought artists like David Guetta, Hardwell, Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Axwell and Steve Aoki to the country.
The concert is only a week away, but tickets for the GA2, GA stands, Silver, Gold and Platinum categories are still available for those who have not bought them thus far.
You can purchase them on EMI here.
