Johnny Depp tired of being famous, may soon quit acting

In the middle of an interview with BBC about his portrayal of Tonto in western movie The Lone Ranger, actor Johnny Depp said that the day that he quits acting “wasn’t too far.” “At a certain point you start thinking, and when you add up the amount of dialogue you say per year…you realise you’ve said more than you’ve had a chance to say your own words,” Depp says to the interviewer of BBC Breakfast, Susanna Reid. “You start thinking about that as an insane option for a human being. Are there quieter things I wouldn’t mind doing…yeah. Yeah, I wouldn’t say that I’m dropping out any second, but it’s probably not too far.” [caption id=“attachment_996615” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Johnny Depp. AP](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/johnnydepp-may11.jpg) Johnny Depp. AP[/caption] Depp had said much the same to Rolling Stone magazine earlier. He told the magazine back in June: “I can’t say that I’d want to be doing this for another 10 years.” Depp added he was looking forward to “going somewhere where you don’t have to be on the run, or sneak in through the kitchen or the underground labyrinth of the hotel.” The news that Depp doesn’t want to be “on the run” anymore isn’t exactly surprising, coming as it does after a year of tabloid attention. Depp broke up with actor/singer Vanessa Paradis, his partner since 1998, and after some time began a relationship with actor Amber Heard.
