Comedian Jim Carrey took aim at Louis CK in his new painting after an audio clip emerged from a comeback set in which the latter mocked school shooting survivors and non-binary people. The Kidding star  took to Twitter on Thursday and shared a photo of his new painting of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student and shooting survivor Emma Gonzalez, in response to Louis’s stand-up set .

Captioned “Louie can’t C. K?”, the painting shows Gonzalex sporting a T-shirt that reads “March For Our Lives” and towering over CK, who is represented by a lilliputian stick figure version with his penis out. The top of the painting reads, “drawn to scale.” CK’s two-minute clip, which was uploaded to Twitter on Sunday, marked a hard right turn for the comedian, who until his downfall in 2017 was feted as one of the greatest comedians of his generation and known for a liberal outlook. The Louie star began by taking aim at today’s youngsters, ridiculing their political correctness and telling his audience their lives are “just boring” compared to the drug-fueled antics of his time. He then turned on the survivors of the Parkland school massacre, many of whom became gun-control activists in the aftermath of the February 2018 shooting by a lone gunman that left 17 dead.
