Proving the same, his last two releases, Rajinikanth-led Jailer and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan did a phenomenal collection at the box office. Not only that, the music of both these dramas was also applauded by fans. But, did you know that Anirudh Ravichander is related to Thalaiva? For the unversed, the composer is the nephew of the iconic Rajinikanth. During a recent interview with Film Companion, Anirudh Ravichander opened up about his equation with the superstar. When asked if his bond with Rajinikanth ever gets in the way of work, Anirudh Ravichander said that he thinks that they are able to separate personal and professional relationships. He added that there was only one song in Jailer initially according to the script. The composer further alleged that as they witnessed the rough edit for the movie, they felt that there was room for another song in the action entertainer and this track turned out to be Hukum. Anirudh Ravichander said, “Normally, you would just go for background music in that scene. But we felt that we could turn it into a song because of the word, Hukum. So, we inserted it there, and it worked. We also placed it in the climax, where Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal, and Rajinikanth appear." The composer further stated that understandably there is some extra love between them from Day 1, however, they make an attempt to keep their personal and professional association separate, irrespective of the scale of the film. Anirudh Ravichander first collaborated with Rajinikanth in 2019 for Petta. The actor-composer duo once again joined forces for AR Murugadoss’ Darbar and Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer. Up next, they will work together for Thalaiva’s upcoming dramas with TJ Gnanavel and Kanagaraj. The films are tentatively titled as Thalaivar 170 and Thalaivar 171.
