Janhvi Kapoor’s 2018 debut Dhadak definitely managed to create a mark. But the actress probably did not have the space to completely understand it as she lost her mother, veteran actress Sridevi, while she was shooting for the film.
Speaking to Filmfare recently, Janhvi stated that her mother’s death is a phase she has not processed completely. She added that she almost had no memory of those three to four months. I don’t remember any thing of those four months, but I do remember that one day when we were sitting in Harsh (Anil Kapoor’s son) _bhaiya’_s room and Arjun bhaiya and Anshula (Arjun Kapoor’s sister) didi came in. I think that was the one day when I felt like, ‘Ok, maybe we might be okay,” added Janhvi. Janhvi had also spoken about her bond with Arjun and Anshula at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) where the actress said that 2018 had brought her a share of both the best and worst experiences of her life. The fact that her family has now been reunited is something that the actress cherishes the most.
