Jai Lava Kusa may have received mix reviews from critics, but it has shown much progress at the box office in India and abroad. The film continued to perform well on its second weekend and on Monday, 25 September, pushing the overall gross earnings to over Rs 100 crore.

Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala also said that Jai Lava Kusa topped the all-India box office on the 22 to 24 September weekend by a large margin. This film marks the first time that Jr NTR played a triple role, and Ronit Roy’s debut in Telugu cinema. The film also starred Nivetha Thomas and Raashi Khanna. Directed by KS Ravindra, it is produced by NTR arts and the music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
