A missed connecting flight and unavailability of business class tickets meant that actor Hrithik Roshan and his sons Hrehaan and Hredhaan were stuck at the Istanbul Airport for a while just hours before the terror attacks that killed 36 people and injured 147 on Wednesday morning, took place. In a series of tweets on Wednesday morning, Hrithik said that it was the extreme helpfulness of the ground staff at the airport that had made it possible for his sons and him to fly out in safety. He further added that all the victims of the attack, and the city of Istanbul were in his thoughts. He also termed as shocking the killing of “innocents in the name of religion”. This is what the actor said:
missed connecting flight at Istanbul n wer stuck at airport next flight ws next day,but took economy n flew out earlier. #Prayers4istanbul
