Irrfan Khan's next film, after his Hollywood release Inferno with Tom Hanks, is in trouble thanks to the current whiplash that films with Pakistani artistes are facing.
The film, tentatively titled Hindi Medium, is indefinitely postponed due to the lead actress from Pakistan Saba Qamar, reports DNA. The film was supposed to be directed by Saket Chaudhry of Pyaar Ke Side Effects fame.
Meanwhile, as the country debates over whether Anurag Kashyap is right in questioning the PM's visit to Pakistan in December, #KeepCinemaOutOfPolitics has been trending on Twitter.
Here's what Twitterati is saying (suffice it to say that there was no unison on this):
Keeping art and entertainment separate from politics because art does not have any boundaries. #KeepCinemaOutOfPolitics
