Iron Man, Happy Hogan to be a part of the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming film
We don’t know much about the new Spider-man: Homecoming film, except the fact that the comic-con trailer is so hush-hush that it wasn’t released online for everyone to watch. Here is what we do know about the film:
Our favourite web-slinging hero (played by Tom Holland) who made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as a part of Team Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War will be starring as a 15-year-old teenager who attends high school in Queens, New York and lives with his aunt (played by Marisa Tomei).
While the film will definitely star Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark; Sony and Marvel have lined up one more familiar face from the ‘Iron Man’ universe for the new Spiderman franchise.
According to Variety, actor/director Jon Favreau, who plays Happy Hogan, Stark’s personal driver in the 'Iron Man' films, will be playing some part in the new Spiderman film.
Other than playing Stark's personal chauffeur, Favreau is credited with directing the first two Iron Man films which grossed more than $ 700 million at the box office. Neither Sony nor Marvel have confirmed this rumour.
Other casting rumours include actor and singer Zendaya being cast as the latest iteration of Peter Parker’s love interest Mary Jane Watson. Other actors who have joined the cast over the last several weeks include Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Zendaya and Tony Revolori.
The film is being produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige, while John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are credited with the script. The film was being shot in Atlanta till Friday 23 September 2016 and now has shifted to Queens, New York according to the Instagram account of writer director Jon Watts:
