Bollywood is still hung-up over The Artist, an utterly beguiling silent, black-and-white celebration of early Hollywood. The movie, not only swept the Academy Awards, bagging five oscars, including the best flim trophy, it has also cast a black and white spell on bollywood.

According to a CNN IBN report a former journalist and filmmaker Bhavna Talwar has decided to make her upcoming Pankaj Kapoor starrer Happi in black and white.

Happi is a chaplinesque film that tells the story of a social misfit who has difficulty in adjusting to life in a society that is always in rush.

Talwar, the diector of Happi confessed to CNN IBN , “I did fear that will an audience today accept something in black and white?.. So, we wanted to shoot it in colour and then use the opportunity that we have now-a-days and change it into black and white later.”

The film however was delayed for two years because the lead actor, Pankaj Kapoor, wanted to concentrate exclusively on his directorial venture Mausam.  But Happi is all set to release this summer.
