Since Bombay Jayashree’s Oscar nomination yesterday, the local media - radio, TV and print - are celebrating what is being touted as a triumph for Chennai. The singer is looking forward to the Oscar night, although she doesn’t really know what it really entails.

The singer said working with"Life of Pi" composer Mychael Danna and director Ang Lee, has been a great learning experience. She had recorded the song in Mumbai about a year ago after considerable back-and-forth consultations with the composer and director. Firstpost
