IIFA 2017 Day 1: Katrina, Sonakshi wow in colourful outfits; Salman sticks to monotones

Once glance at the internet during the IIFA weekend — July 14, 15 and 16 — and you can tell that Bollywood has spread across thick. From videos to photos to press conferences to events, all our favourite Bollywood celebrities are making the right kind of noises at IIFA 2017 in New York. While the IIFA Stomp saw many performances (Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor) and celebrities walk on stage (Dia Mirza, Shilpa Shetty to name a few), there was also a opening press conference held to commemorate the awards show. Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Anupam Kher, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput were spotted giving speeches and speaking to the media. Most of the female celebrities sported various colours (Disha Patani chose a yellow ensemble, while Katrina landed in New York sporting a bright red dress), and our personal favourites are Sonakshi and Katrina — both were seen sporting different shades of blue and red respectively. The men however, have stuck to blacks or greys.
