Hunk alert: Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khattar is making his acting debut

Karan Johar should be crowned the king of launches. In 2012, he introduced to the world three stars, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, in Student of the Year, and is now reportedly gearing up to launch Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishan Khattar. According to this Times of India report, the young debutant is currently in Kashmir, but when he returns, he will start prepping for Karan Johar’s Indian adaptation of The Fault In Our Stars. He is making his debut with none other than Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. [caption id=“attachment_2835688” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Shahid Kapoor with Ishaan Khattar. Image from Ishaan’s instagram account.[/caption] Shahid has reportedly been working with Ishaan on building a body fit for the big screen. However there has been no official official statement made on it. Their mother, Neelima Azim did hint at a film in the pipeline in this interview with DNA, “I can’t talk about Ishaan’s debut as the makers have their own plans of making an announcement. All I can say is that I am thrilled that my second child, too, is becoming an actor.” There were rumuors doing the rounds of Ishaan making his debut in the sequel to Student Of the Year, with Sara Alia Khan and Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor. However, only time will tell about the authenticity of those rumours (we can only wish). Ishaan, like his older brother, is a trained dancer from Shiamak Davar’s dance academy and is quite active on social media. He has worked as an assistant director on Shahid’s upcoming film Udta Punjab. In this Filmfare interview, Shahid said, “He’s a hard working boy. He’s an exceptionally good dancer. The other day he send me a nice picture of him giving the clap for my first shot in Udta Punjab as Tommy Singh, cutting a line of coke inside a Range Rover with a Rs 100 note. That’s a cute moment. We have a difference of 14 years between us. For me he’s more like a kid.”
