Huma Qureshi starts shooting for Mithya Season 2, drops fun BTS from sets

Huma Qureshi-starrer Zee 5 web series Mithya, helmed by Rohan Sippy, turned out to be a much-loved project, and the makers have started shooting for its second season. Loved for its amazing storytelling and surprising twists and turns with actors like Huma Qureshi, Avantika Dassani, Rajit Kapur, and Parambrata Chatterjee among others, the Zee5 show not only garnered praise for its performance but also left fans wanting another season. Amid all the buzz revolving around the second season of the show, Huma Qureshi on Tuesday shared an update, confirming she had started filming Mithya Season 2. The actress also expressed gratitude to her fans for the love and support she received for her performance as Juhi. Huma Qureshi shared a fun BTS video from the sets of Mithya 2 and wrote, “And it begins …. #Mithya Season 2 @roseaudiovisuals @applausesocial @zee5 #love #actorslife Thank you for the love I get for #Juhi. Wish us luck for season 2 of this very loved show.”

Fans expressed happiness over Mithya returning with the second season, many also congratulated the actress. About the show Set in Darjeeling, the hill station mystery revolves around a Hindi professor Juhi Adhikari (played by Huma Qureshi), who accuses a student of plagiarism, only to get entangled in a web of secrets and lies. While Juhi, the daughter of an eminent writer, tries to prove that her achievements have nothing to do with her prodigy, she is also seen locking horns with her student, Rhea Rajguru, the daughter of one of the top college benefactors. Huma was last seen in late celebrity chef Tarla Dalal’s biopic titled _Tarla_ . Besides Mithya Season 2, she also has the third season of Maharani in the pipeline. The teaser of the show was recently unveiled, showing Huma back as Maharani, also known as, Rani Bharti who has now cleared Class XII exams.
