How Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' became the biggest hit in a non-action genre | Explained

After Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan gave his fans Dunki in 2023. The film has done a business of over Rs 215 crore in India and more than Rs 400 crore worldwide, making it a success story. As per a report by Hindustan Times,  SRK  is now expected to make the announcement of his next slate for 2024. A source said, “Everyone in the industry is looking forward and are excited to know about his next step. But he is not in any hurry to sign a project. He has some scripts in his hand, but he will go through them after coming back from his break. He will come and sit and analyze what he wants to do next.” Dunki is srill enjoying an amazing run in the theaters with great positive word of mouth coming in from the audience. This ultimate family entertainer crossed the 200 Cr. mark in India and the 400 Cr. mark worldwide. Khan was recently named the Indian of the Year Award at the CNN News 18 Indian Of The Year 2023 Awards.
