Here's what Robin Williams shared last on Twitter, Instagram
Most of Robin Williams's messages on social media were either retweets or announcements of show updates and movie trailers, as well as polite thank-you notes. Very rarely did he talk about his personal life on these public platforms, so it's particularly heartbreaking to see his last tweet was a birthday message to his daughter Zelda Williams, along with an old photo of them together. On 1 August, Williams wrote: "#tbt and Happy Birthday to Ms. Zelda Rae Williams! Quarter of a century old today but always my baby girl. Happy Birthday @zeldawilliams Love you!" He also put up an old photo of himself with baby Zelda on Instagram.

Reports say the actor was suffering from acute depression, but of course what remains on social media shows Williams at his cheerful best. Most of the pictures on his Instagram account are of him posing with a carefree smile with co-stars (which also includes a monkey) and friends.
In hindsight though, there are too many old photos that were put up with the hashtag 'Throwback Thursday', which might be a sign of the actor feeling nostalgic of late.
Famous for his sense of humour, Williams did reveal his fun side online. In one of his Instagram photos, he's seen posing with Victoria Secrets Angels. It looks like his favourite subject was Leonard, his pet pug.
The least private of Williams's online presences is his Facebook profile, which is clearly handled by his publicity team. The last item shared on that page is the trailer of his upcoming film, Night at the Museum Secret of the Tomb
