Has Taapsee Pannu replaced Bhumi Pednekar in Anand L Rai's production Manmarziyan?

Anand L Rai’s long delayed project Manmarziyan, which had gone on floors with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead, is set for another change. According to a report in DNA, Taapsee Pannu has been approached by Aanand L Rai to play the role that was being played by Bhumi. Image from News 18[/caption] The film has been long in the making with even the director being changed due to creative differences, when Sameer Sharma of Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana fame dropped out of the project and was replaced by Nil Battey Sannata’s Ashwiny-Iyer Tiwari for the project. This too changed as Tiwari opted out to direct Bareilly Ki Barfi. Anand L Rai then roped in the current director of the film, Anurag Kashyap. In fact, one schedule of the film had already been shot way back in 2016 with Bhumi in the lead. Manmarziyan was supposed to reunite the hit pair of Ayushmann and Bhumi after the success of Dum Laga Ke Haisha, but the latest development seems to be changing this. Taapsee Pannu is riding high on the success of Pink and Judwaa 2 and is currently shooting in Lunckow. It is being said that on her return she will meet the makers and take a call on the offer, according to sources.
