Meghan, according to reports published in EXPRESS, compared her Netflix partnership to the Obamas’ own deal for their production company Higher Ground, adding the new contract offered her and Harry ‘flexibility’ and the chance to ‘shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix’.
Meghan Markle ’s point of view on the Netflix deal
Meghan Markle explained as per reports published in EXPRESS, “My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix then, not dissimilar to Higher Ground and the Obamas’ deal.”
During their previous contract with Netflix , Harry and Meghan released a number of projects which received some pretty scathing reviews from critics. As a result, fans expected the streaming giant to reduce the terms with the couple, but Meghan was quick to boast that the deal is anything but disappointing. She said: “Once that had come to its term, the extension of it — which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership — was now being in a first-look deal."
On Netflix’s With Love, Meghan Season 3
Meghan mentioned that the holiday special would include gift wrapping techniques, as she used to teach “advanced gift wrapping” between acting auditions.
