Though Duke and Duchess of Sussex left UK after stepping back from official royal duties in 2020 and has totally stayed away from the Windsor clan in recent years, they are at the heart of King Charles’ funeral plans.
According to The Telegraph report, his Majesty has included not only his younger son and daughter-in-law, “at the heart” of his plans, but he has factored their two California-based children, Archie and Lilibet, into the mix.
King Charles has made it very clear that Spare author, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be present and must take his rightful place at the center of his family whenever the time comes.
Plans for Harry for King Charles funeral
Forgetting all internal misunderstanding and disputes within the royal family, Harry is expected to walk side by side with his brother, who will then be king, at the forefront of the procession from Westminster Abbey through the streets of London. The Sussexes will also be invited to take part in the family vigil during the lying-in-state period at Westminster Hall.
Arrangements have reportedly been made for Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, to attend the funeral service with their parents.
