 "Harry optimistic about Prince William’s forgiveness amid Kate Middleton & Charles’ illness")
According to reports Prince Harry is expected to return to Britain from his home in California in May. Despite Harry and Meghan having a huge clash with Prince William as shown in Netflix’s docuseries Harry & Meghan, now he wishes to mend his relationship with his brother. But the big question is whether William is ready for this amid health crisis in the family.
In an exclusive chat with The Mirror, royal expert and author Tom Quinn said: “William would much rather keep Harry at my arm’s length, simply because of this trust issue – if William felt Harry could be relied on, he would certainly want him back in the UK, because this is one of the most stressful times in William’s life.”
Harry’s volatile nature
Tom Quinn further added in The Mirror story , “But with a brother who can’t fully be trusted, the situation is a nightmare. If Harry was welcomed back into the fold, it would be even more stressful for William because he’d have Kate to worry about, but also Harry with all Harry’s volatility and tendency to take offence.
The key thing about Harry is that in many ways he is still the 12-year-old boy he was when his mother died. His emotional development arguably stopped at that point, so the little boy in him imagines that his big brother will ultimately always forgive him whatever he says, and however much he drags their disagreements into the public sphere.”
Harry’s UK visit
The Mirror report further revealed that Prince Harry is expected to visit the UK in May and make “efforts” to see Prince William . Following the Princess of Wales ’ cancer diagnosis, the Duke of Sussex is thought to want to offer his support to the Royal Family, which would include meeting his older brother, the Prince of Wales.
However, royal expert Quinn told us any meeting would “last a short time” so that the two brothers can “avoid any difficult conversations.”
Kate Middleton third UK Royal to be diagnosed with cancer
On the health front of Kate Middleton , she becomes the third UK Royal to be diagnosed with cancer after King Charles and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
Kate has begun a course of preventative chemotherapy treatment. “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family,” Middleton said in the video.
Harry Vs William
Harry had earlier claimed in his controversial memoir Spare that he was physically attacked by his brother, Prince William. Harry also claimed that his brother William and his wife Catherine, now the Prince and Princess of Wales, laughed after seeing him dressed in a Nazi uniform for a party.
Going back to the physical attack that Harry faced in the hands of his brother, Prince William, describing the incident in detail in his book Spare which happened in his London home in 2019, Harry says William called Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”, which Harry calls a “parroting of the press narrative” about his American wife. The confrontation escalated, Harry writes, until William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace and knocked me to the floor”. This incident Harry says resulted in visible injury to his back.
