Guess who's back? 'Barely Speaking with Arnub' is returning with its season 2

Remember TVF’s Barely Speaking with Arnub? The parody produced by The Viral Fever did a great job of mocking a certain news anchor and channel. The first season featured ’extensive’ and ‘in-depth’ interviews with the likes of Alia Bhatt and Arvind Kejriwal. A hilarious video that starred Shah Rukh Khan had the actor opening up about the controversial Wankhede stadium incident and about him being named ‘Rahul’ in each of his films. Arnub asks Khan, “Mr Khan, you’re famous for playing a character called Rahul. And last time, somebody called Rahul came on this show; things didn’t go really well for him,” starts off Arnub after the usual niceties. “Let me ask you, Are you nervous? “Verry,” replies SRK , and then adds “No”. The network executives are in a frenzy because of low channel ratings and  and the network execs go looking for him, in the same manner Madhavan and Sharman Joshi try looking for Phunsukh Wangdu in 3 Idiots, with the implication that Arnub’s genius is equal to the genius of Aamir Khan’s character in the film. ‘Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh’ plays in in the background to further illustrate this fact. The prologue looks extremely promising. The satire hits bulls eye, with the implied jokes on the American Presidential Election in full tow, the intern ‘Internjit’ urges Arnub to return to his show to ‘#MakeIndiaGreatAgain’. The prologue seems spot on, lets hope the series will not fail to hit the mark either.
