Guess who's in town? Chris Martin is in Mumbai with Coldplay to shoot a ‘special’ video

Remember when Coldplay frontman Chris Martin surprised us with an impromptu performance in a Delhi eatery  in July? Remember how people from the rest of India went crazy because he didn’t show up in their cities? Remember how everyone wanted him to come to Mumbai?

Well, guess what? Chris Martin is not only in Mumbai, but he’s brought the rest of Coldplay with him, according to this report by M id-Day.

The band is reportedly here to shoot a music video and according to a source quoted in the story, they have a special something lined up for their Indian fans.

Photographs accompanying the story show Martin and his band-mates, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion, covered in colours associated with Holi celebrations and with Indian children around them. Several other photos point to a Holi-themed video.

A Twitter user uploaded a brief video of Chris Martin talking to the gathered crowd.

We can’t wait to see what that ‘something special’ the band has lined up. Hopefully, this shoot means there will be a Coldplay concert in India soon.
