Los Angeles: Green Lantern Corps will reportedly be directed by Rupert Wyatt, who also helmed Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Wyatt is set to work on the film, which is scheduled to release in 2020, reports aceshowbiz.com. He is currently putting the finishing touches on a new sci-fi thriller titled Captive State, but he has cleared his schedule to take on the upcoming Green Lantern movie.

Green Lantern Corps is set to feature both characters - Hal Jordan and John Stewart - with the movie being described as “Lethal Weapon in Space.”
Warner Bros hasn’t started casting for the film, but is looking for an actor aged 39 to 50 to play Hal Jordan and 21 to 30 to star as John Stewart.
