Govinda's next movie has been announced, and Fukrey star Varun Sharma will be his co-star.

Directed by Abhishek Dogra, Govinda's upcoming movie has been titled FryDay. The poster for the upcoming comedy flick was revealed on Twitter and the release date for FryDay is 11 May, 2018.

The tagline of the film reads Jhoot Becho, which gives us a slight glimpse of the fact that it could be a film about con, lies, and deceit. The film has been produced by Inbox Pictures and Sajid Qureshi.

Govinda was last seen in 2014's Kill Dill and Happy Ending. He also made a special appearance in Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday in the same year. Govinda also starred in Aa Gaya Hero last year, but the movie proved to be a box-office disaster.

Varun Sharma is known for starring in movies such as Fukrey, Fukrey Returns, Dilwale, and Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.

Director Abhishek Dogra has directed the Sonam Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat movie Dolly Ki Doli.
