The twists and turns of the second episode of Game Of Thrones season 4 sent shock waves among the show’s fans and it was not only widely discussed across the social media but also viewed by eight million people. But more than anything else the episode about the Purple Wedding was a record setter as far as pirated downloads was concerned. [caption id=“attachment_1485087” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Courtesy: Facebook[/caption] According to piracy tracking blog, TorrentFreak, episode two called The Lion and the Rose was illegally downloaded by about 1.5 million people on the very first day and almost 193,418 users shared the copy of the episode. TorrentFreak said: “A few hours after the second episode came online the Demonii tracker reported that 193,418 people where sharing one single torrent. 145,594 had a complete copy of the episode and continued to upload, while 47,824 were still downloading the file.” Reportedly, this broke the record for the season three finale of Game of Thrones that had 171,572 people sharing it on a single tracker. The tracking record also revealed that the Game Of Thrones serial was downloaded by people from Australia, UK, Canada and Netherlands among other regions. Game Of Thrones is presently aired on HBO in United States and Sky Atlantic in United Kingdom, but of which are paid channels.
