Fukrey Returns teaser: Notorious squad sets off fireworks; Richa Chadha as Bholi Punjaban shines

The teaser of Fukrey Returns, the second installment of the Fukrey franchise is out and it is exactly what one would picture it to be - one hell of a ride. Filled with humour, misadventures and of course the amusing banter between Bholi Punjaban and Choocha, the teaser refreshes memories of the first installment, which was a unique entertainer. Image from Twitter.[/caption] The film begins with Choocha, played by Varun Sharma, exercising his psychic powers and landing the squad in problematic situations. The situational comedy aspect of the film remains uniform in the teaser. The highlight, however, is the return of Richa Chadha and her laughable exchanges with Choocha. Although the squad was successful in sending her to jail, Bholi Punjaban, now released from jail and armed with her faithful allies, is in her best form. Needless to say, the boys must prepare themselves for retribution. The original Fukrey title track has been used in the teaser, as well, which makes it easy for you to connect the teaser to the events that unfolded in the first installment. The film features Chadha, Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma and Manoj Singh. They all reprise their roles from the previous installment. Fukrey Returns has been directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani producing it. The film releases on 8 December. Watch the teaser here:
