With great legacy and lineage, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher marked their entry into the big world of Cinema with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s latest: Mirzya. The star kids was on The Firstpost Show with Renil Abraham. From the struggles of being a star kid in this industry to auditions and then to a few fun rounds of ‘Five Seconds Rule’, this episode of the show is a must watch. The show started with a conversation about the struggles of being a star kid in this industry. When Renil asked them if audience find it a bit too hard to accept and account their talent and hard work because of their lineage, Harshvardhan said that if you put out a great performance, that is all that matters. He went on to talk about his sister, Sonam Kapoor and said that people did not appreciate her or her talent when she initially entered the industry and everyone is impressed with her now after giving Neerja.   We asked them about auditions that went wrong. Harsh had a story about his audition for ‘Life of Pi’ where he auditioned for the role of Pi and the casting director got back to him saying: ’that was a great audition, but you are too good looking for this part’. With good looks and a new movie comes a lot of attention and male and female fan following. Saiyami said that she loves it when she gets attention and when she gets appreciated for her work. When Renil asked Harsh about how he reacts to male attention, he said he really loves it and that it means he gets both the sides of the coin, men and women, which is his complete audience.
