Adah Sharma had a great 2023, with The Kerala Story being one of the most talked about films that got the cash registers ringing at the box office. And the actor is in no mood to slow down. She began her career with the success of the horror film 1920, and then did the Commando franchise too.

The Kerala Story was one of the biggest hits of 2023 with a lifetime collection of over Rs 250 crore. The actress’ reported net-worth is worth crores. Whether she’s playing innocent, intense, emotional, or terrifying, her acting looks effortless, and so does her dance in all possible forms. Adah famously switches between voices — cartoon voices, deep voices, squeaky ones, accents, everything.

In an interview with Firstpost, the actress spoke about her 2023 blockbuster and said, “I’m overwhelmed since the film is released in the theaters. And now on OTT. It feels really nice. I wake up in the morning and I find hearts, I find messages. The nice thing is that everyone sees a different scene and that scene touches them. In a movie usually you have like, this is my good scene or this is the… Here everyone has seen something else which has touched them and that is the story for them. It’s also so nice when I meet people at airports and all.”

She added, “People have things to tell me. The thing is we lost track of numbers and I thought the coolest part of the producer was he said it’s not the amount of money and that’s not how we want to promote this movie even. We want to tell people how many hearts we touched that is and how much awareness we brought and how many people went and watched the movie. But yes of course now if you say it’s made 303 crores you know that how many people went and watched your movie which feels very nice for an actor.”
