Fawad Khan's next film after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be opposite Salman Khan

The actor might be only two films old in Bollywood with a third one to soon release, yet Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has already made his presence felt in the industry. Reports suggest that the actor will now be seen in a Salman Khan production with the superstar himself in a Nitin Kakkar film. According to an IANS video Kakkar said, “We go on floors with Fawad sometime next year. He is locked in. We are currently in the process of getting an actress on board. This is an urbane love story. But more than that, it’s an interesting take on relationships between a boy and a girl.”

Kakkar has earlier written and directed National Award winning comedy film Filmistaan. A report in The Indian Express indicates that Fawad was earlier in talks for Salman Khan’s Jugalbandi, however Kakkar’s film came before that. The actor has also signed up for Dharma Productions Raat Baaki opposite Katrina Kaif. A Bollywood Life report suggests that the film will be directed by lyricist Aditya Dhar and would be a musical love story. The film is expected to begin shooting post November and will release sometime next year. Currently Fawad fans are waiting to see him in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Muskil, where he has a cameo.
