Fatima Sana Shaikh dismisses link-up rumours with Aamir Khan: Don't feel the need to explain

Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh recently responded to the rumours of her alleged link-up with Dangal co-star Aamir Khan. In a Bollywood Hungama report , the actress said that the entire thing was rather ‘weird’, especially when her mother had to see the news flashing on television screens. Shaikh said that initially such rumours used to affect her negatively and disturb her, leading to a feeling that she ought to explain herself. If you are a submissive person, even then you will talk about it,” said Shaikh. However, the actress said that she did not feel the need to justify herself any longer as most of the paparazzi were prone to spreading rumours anyway. She added that the very people who wrote such news were the ones who would later greet her sweetly. Despite understanding the fact that it was their ‘job’ to produce gossip, Fatima said she hoped they could sleep peacefully at night. The actress has also been linked with Aparshakti Khurana, also part of the Dangal cast. Responding to those rumours, Shaikh said that both Aamir and Aparshakti were really special to her and that these baseless news do not affect her anymore. Fatima’s last outing on silver screen was Vijay Krishna Acharya’s big-budget ensemble film Thugs of Hindostan .
