Farah Khan, a prominent filmmaker and choreographer of Bollywood, who has been entertaining the audience with her cooking vlogs alongside her cook Dilip, visited Baba Ramdev’s ashram in Haridwar for the latest episode.

While giving a tour of the ashram, the heartwarming conversation between Baba Ramdev and Farah Khan led to references to Bollywood.

“Humne logo ke rehne ke liye bana rakhe hai mahal, aur apne liye jhopdi. (We’ve built palaces for people to stay in, and a hut for ourselves)," said Baba Ramdev while giving a tour of her ashram.

In her trademark humorous style, Farah replied, “To aap aur Salman Khan ek hi ho. Vo bhi 1BHK me rehta hai aur banayein hai mahal sab ke liye (So you and Salman Khan are the same. He also lives in a 1BHK and has built palaces for everyone else.)”

“Haan, ye baat to sahi hai. (Yes, it is correct),” said Baba Ramdev, agreeing to her.

Farah complimented Baba Ramdev on his looks and asked if he had ever considered joining Bollywood. The Yoga guru chuckled and replied, “To aap aur Salman Khan ek hi gaye. Vo bhi 1BHK me rehta hai aur banayein hai mahal sab ke liye (Oh, God, I’ve left an entire empire for you to rule).”

Salman Khan  has been working in Hindi cinema for the last 37 years continuously. He is one of the country’s biggest superstars. Between 2010 and 2017, the kind of success he saw at the Box Office will always remain unprecedented. In those eight years, he had eight blockbusters and one all-time blockbuster. The actor was last seen in Sikandar, which is directed by AR Murugadoss.

In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, as he’s fondly called, the Bhaijaan of Bollywood spoke about the definition of mass cinema and why he’s not really pleased by the culture of selling tickets in black at single-screen cinemas.
