Fanne Khan first look: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sports edgy look in Manjrekar's upcoming musical comedy

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s look in Fanne Khan was kept a secret until recently. The actress, who was last seen in Karan Johar’s 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, will be back on screen as a rockstar in the film. KriArj entertainment took to Twitter to share the much-awaited look.

Aishwarya will be seen alongside Rajkummar Rao, Divya Dutta and Anil Kapoor in the Atul Manjrekar-directed movie. In the film, she plays a famous performer, known for her singing and dancing skills. Sporting a camouflage jacket with studs and reflective sunglasses, Aishwarya looks more than ready for the stage. Her edgy style in Fanne Khan will remind you of her role in ADHM, where she played the glamourous Saba, opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Fanne Khan brings together Anil and Aishwarya after a long gap of 19 years. They had last acted together in Subhash Ghai’s 1999 blockbuster Taal. In the film, Anil reportedly plays a father to a budding singer and kidnaps Aishwarya to make way for his daughter in the music industry. The film is slated to release on Eid, 15 June, along with Remo D’Souza’s action thriller Race 3.
