Family Time With Kapil Sharma teaser marks resurgence of Indian TV's successful comedian-host
Kapil Sharma is all set to make his comeback on Indian TV screens after his break since August 2017, following the controversy around his altercation with fellow comedian-actor Sunil Grover.
Although speculations about The Kapil Sharma Show season 2 was doing the rounds for quite some time, the celebrated TV star will now be seen in the upcoming show, Family Time With Kapil Sharma on Sony Entertainment Television. According to a report by India Today, the show premieres on 25 March after the grand finale of Super Dancer Chapter 2 airs on 24 March.
A new teaser of the show has been released on Twitter, on 6 March, featuring Sharma playing himself, after his supposed fallout with the channel.

From the teaser, it is known that Sharma hasn't paid his newspaper bills, TV cable bills and not even the milkman, as he has no work. Taking advantage of the moment, the maid too resigns complaining of no resources in the house to do her daily cleaning. And then, the phone rings, with Sony Entertainment Television on the other line. And we know (and we hope), Sharma's world is about to change.
Last month, the first teaser of the show was released, and now with this self-deprecating sketch, we also know the title of the show.
It was earlier reported that Sharma's former co-actors Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar will also be a part of the show but it is not clear if Ali Asgar is on board. The new show will reportedly also feature a game segment where Kapil will invite families to play games with him, obviously after his stand-up comedy act, reports Mumbai Mirror.
