#Facepalm: Why SOTY's 'Ishq Wala Love' is no 'Gana Wala Song'

If you’ve been wondering what Ishq Wala Love is, as opposed to the connotations of the word you are familiar with, blame your elitist genes for it. It’s not Karan Johar’s fault that you find his delightfully non-conformist, self simplifying school of English ridiculous. It’s again not his fault that you don’t get couples coordinating fluorescent green tees for love. You have company and very proactive ones who have now made a spoof of the most popular song from Student of the Year - Ishq Wala Love. Fittingly titled Gana Wala Song - a not-so-subtle dig at the title itself - the spoof has the video of KJo’s song play as a parody replaces the actual song. Gana Wala Song tears apart every line and every frame of the original which is easily a pretti-fied collection of all the cliches associated with Bollywood romance. From a presumably god-sent, flower-decked canoe in the middle of an isolated ice cap (Boat Wala Naav) to a teary-eyed hero whose broken, bleeding heart can only be comforted by dressing up like Barbie’s Ken (Dukh Wala Sad), the parody by theviralfever.com should ideally make KJo blush!
