Selena Gomez stuns in a custom gown at the Emmy Awards The singer-actor dazzled on the silver carpet in a shimmery gown which was a custom look by luxury designer Oscar de la Renta and jeweller from Tiffany & Co. The gown included a plunging neckline that displayed her decolletage along with an embroidered fern design with wine-red shimmery sequins. Further, the figure-hugging fit of the gown clearly accentuated Gomez’s curvy frame.
While the gown singlehandedly made Selena stand out at the event, an interesting fact about the designer gown is that it was made with approximately 4,50,000 paillettes and took over 930 hours of hand embroidery to put the look together. A video of the dress being in preparation is also shared on the designer’s Instagram handle. Further, the singer complimented her look with striking jewellery from Tiffany & Co. which included a diamond and ruby adorned gold choker necklace with diamond ear studs and statement rings. She completed the look with killer velvet stilettos and a classic bun with a few strands sculpting her face. Selena went for wine red lipstick with rouge on the cheeks, beaming highlighter, and mascara on the lashes.
