Emmy Awards 2018 nominations: Game of Thrones leads with 22 nods; Westworld, The Handmaid's Tale follow

Game of Thrones, Westworld and The Handmaid’s Tale have dominated this year’s Emmy nominations. Games of Thrones picked up 22 nods for its seventh season becoming  the most-nominated series of all time with a total of 129 nods since 2011. The hospital drama ER had previously earned 124. Westworld followed close behind with 21 nominations, and The Handmaid’s Tale received 20 nominations.

The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on 17 September. The Saturday Night Live Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che will host the ceremony.
