Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga  title track is the perfect recreation of the famous track from 1942: A Love Story. Rochak Kohli has neatly created a soulful number, keeping the original rhythm and tunes in tact, to create a rustic, almost raw number which speaks far more, yet retains the innocence of the 1994 film. YouTube screengrab[/caption] The melodious song has been voiced by Darshan Raval and Rochak Kohli, while the lyrics have been penned by Gurpreet Saini. The track plays seamlessly in the background as the video delves into the obvious love brewing within Rajkummar Rao’s character. The number almost takes on the essence of a character in narrating the goings-on while snippets of Sonam K Ahuja and Anil Kapoor are seen in the foreground. Special mention to a short sequence between Anil and Juhi Chawla, where the two veterans are seen concocting a sweet, precious moment of love only through their expressions, laughter and generous blushing. This is the first time that the father-daughter duo Sonam and Anil will share the screen space. In this context, the actress had said that though they have been offered a lot of films in the past, this one was apt for them to collaborate. She said, “I never found authenticity or idealism in any of the other films. I felt nobody besides me and my father (were apt) to do Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. We are glad to know that we were the first choice of the director”, as per an earlier report. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani in association with Fox Star Studios, is slated to release on 1 February. Watch the video here.
