Chennai: Successful Telugu revenge-drama "Eega" will be screened at the Cannes International Film Fesitval's film market section May 20.
The festival is starting Wednesday. "Going to attend Cannes film festival and the Film Market. First time going to any festival. We are also screening 'Eega' in the Cannes Film Market (March Du Film) on the 20th," producer Shobu Yarlagadda posted on his Twitter page.
Lot of Indian and foreign films are screened at the Cannes film market to attract international buyers and distributors.
"Eega" was directed by S.S. Rajamouli. It was the story of a young man who comes back as a housefly to avenge his killers.
The film, which featured Nani, Kiccha Sudeep and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles, was also released in Hindi as "Makkhi" and as "Naan Ee" in Tamil.

Perhaps Mum Bhai would have been more involving if the suspense had been sustained, the screenplay not dipped in and out of past and present, and the writing committed itself to a modicum of heart.

While Chhalaang is Rajkummar Rao's sixth collaboration with Hansal Mehta, it is the first time the two have worked on a romantic comedy. For Nushrat Bharucha, she is excited to play "a small-town girl for the first time."
Ravan Leela, helmed by Hardik Gajjar, is scheduled to release sometime later this year.
