Durga Puja: Rani Mukerji is all smiles as she participates in Sindoor Khela on Vijayadashami

Our favourite Rani Mukherji was all smiles as she participated in Sindoor Khela on the final day of Durga Puja. The actress marked Vijayadashami on Tuesday with her family and friends at Mumbai’s North Bombay Sarbojanin’s Durga Puja pandal. Donning a golden pink sari, the gorgeous Rani Mukherji grooved to the beats of Dhak. She was accompanied by Rupali Ganguly who joined her and danced her heart out. Among others, Sumona Chakravarti also took part in the Sindoor Khela.

Rani Mukerji, Rupali Ganguly danced to Dhak beats Rani looked stunning in a golden pink silk saree. She draped the sari in Bengali’s ‘aat poure’ style. She was also seen wearing the traditional red and white bangles called shakha and pola. Rupali and Sumona also draped red and white sarees for the Sindoor Khela event. In one of the videos, shared by a paparazzo account on Instagram, Rani Mukherji and Rupali Ganguly could be seen dancing together during the Sindoor Khela. After dancing together for sometime, the two could be seen sharing a long embrace.

Earlier, Rani Mukherji appeared in cousin Kajol’s Durga Puja album. Kajol shared a slew of pictures from her Durga Puja celebration and one of them featured Rani. The sister duo could be seen sharing a lovely hug and posing for the photograph. “So many people that I love were there and so many happy feelings all over. The pujo has ended for everyone else but we still have a just our thing so that feels a little better .. there is a feeling of sadness mixed with elation that it was a successful year and now it’s at an end,” an excerpt from Kajol's post read. Rani Mukerji on work front Work-wise, Rani Mukerji was last seen in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. The film, which also featured Anirban Bhattacharya, released earlier this year.
