Do you know Netflix's 'Dabba Cartel' actress Sai Tamhankar acted in 'Ghajini'? Says 'I wanted to marry Aamir Khan'

It is truly entertaining to watch women solidarity at its best. Director Hitesh Bhatia and producer Farhan Akhtar’s thrilling new series, Dabba Cartel is a joy to see women lifting each other up.

Dabba Cartel  is a show that women of all age groups can relate to whether it is a senior woman like Shabana Azmi, middle-aged woman like Jyotika or young inseparable friends like Shalini Pandey and Nimisha Sajayan.

It also stars Sai Tamhankar. But do you know Tamhankar acted in ‘Ghajini’? She played a small role of Jia Khan’s friend and wanted to even marry Aamir Khan.

“Early, very early on my career in my career, very early on, I was offered this role, and I was told that you’re going to be sharing screen space with Amir Khan,” said the actress.

She added, “I immediately jumped on it, and I have played Jia Khan’s friend in it. It’s a very small part, negligible part, but it was like a dream come true.” She also said she had the cassette of Dil with her and she told her mother how she wanted to marry the actor. “That’s the only reason I said yes to Ghajini,” Sai said.

On pay disparity

Although, it has slowly started, but revolution takes time. And I think we are on the right path. We are on the correct path, and, we’ll get there someday. I’m very optimistic about it.

She has been basking in the glory of the reviews of her show and she says “Everything positive, everything amazing. People are loving the series. People are loving my part. People want a season two, and I’m very happy.”

The actress now has an Excel film called Ground Zero, she’s doing a show with Vijay Varma called Matka King, and two Marathi films. She has already done Dabba Cartel, Agni, and Crime Beat one after another.
